As the frontiers of medicine have moved in recent decades, patients have felt increasingly bewildered by the number of different specialists and medications they acquire over the years. As part of our role as general practitioners we aim to provide the reassurance that at least one doctor understands all the different facets of your health and is available to help you navigate this increasingly complex medical terrain. Many of our patients have excellent relationships with their National Health Service (NHS) GP as well as using the services of The Brook Surgery. At a time when many patients are understanding better the complexities of their health insurance policies we do on occasion find ourselves recommending a combination of NHS and private solutions.
